Raydale Preserves started life in 1978 as a farming diversification project, undertaken by husband and wife team Derek and Lesley Kettlewell, on their family farm in Stalling Busk, Raydaleside.

Headed by Derek Kettlewell, the business is still centred in Stalling Busk and  provides much needed employment  for  locals as well as family members.

The business has steadily grown over the years but has never lost touch with the fundamental guiding principle of quality. The process of making the preserves is all done by hand in the purpose built kitchen at Stalling Busk, from preparing the fruit to sticking on the labels, and it is this that ensures the excellent quality can be maintained.

The preserves are to be found all across Yorkshire and much further afield and there is a tasting room in Stalling Busk, which provides the opportunity to taste the wide range of preserves and chutneys they make.  Of course any that take your fancy can also be purchased at the kitchen door.

There is also a small café open to the public from 10:00 throughout the summer months, which is ideal to grab a drink before taking one of the excellent Raydale Rambles, which provide entry to land not covered by a public footpath and gives access to some stunning waterfalls.

At High Blean B&B we try to use local suppliers wherever possible, so it is ideal that we have a producers of such good quality preserves right on our door step.
