Terms & Conditions :
These terms and conditions form part of the contract between “you” and High Blean B&B. The person making the booking confirms they are authorised to make the booking, on behalf of all guests in the party the booking refers to and are responsible for all and any payment that becomes due as a result of this booking. By paying a deposit you confirm that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions, which were made readily available to you before making the booking and paying a deposit.
Access:
High Blean is a listed building, dating from 1674, with both letting rooms situated on the first floor. Due to this, the accommodation is not suitable for people who have difficulty getting up and down stairs unaided.
Deposit:
We require a deposit equivalent to the first night’s stay to confirm a booking. A booking will not become a confirmed booking until the deposit has been received. We will acknowledge receipt of your deposit by email or telephone but until we do so, the booking is provisional. If we do not acknowledge the payment of your deposit the booking is not confirmed.
The deposit, once paid, is non-refundable
Payment:
Full payment for your stay is to be made no later than 10:30 on the morning of your departure. This payment can be made in cash BACS, Cheque or card.
Cancellation:
In the unfortunate situation that you need to cancel your booking, we ask that you do so as soon as possible. If a booking is cancelled less than 7 days before arrival, then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made. If the booking is cancelled 7 or more days before your arrival then a charge equal to the first night of your stay will be made. In the event of a no-show or a booking reduction [after date of arrival] the full cost of the booking is charged.
Arrival – Departure:
Rooms can be accessed from 15:00 on the day of your stay with arrival being no later than 19:00. Guests who have not arrived by 19:00 will be deemed to have cancelled their booking and forfeited their deposit.
Rooms to be vacated and the bill settled in full by 10:30 [AM] on the morning of your departure.
Smoking:
We do not permit smoking or vaping in any part of High Blean, this includes the garden and porch.
Dogs:
We no longer accept dogs.
Children:
We do not accept bookings for children, this includes babies.
Wedding attendees:
We do not accept bookings from guest attending a wedding locally.
Parking:
You are welcome to park your vehicle on our premises as directed, space permitting, but by doing so, you accept full liability for any damage to your vehicle however so caused. This also applies to the contents of your vehicle.
While we are happy to lock your bikes in the garage, you do so entirely at your own risk. We take no responsibility to ensure they remain secure in the garage. We take no responsibility for any damage to your property, however so caused.
Liability:
We take no responsibility for any damage to, or theft of, a guests personal possessions however so caused.
We reserve the absolute right to cancel any booking at any time at our absolute discretion: under these circumstances, we will return your deposit in full and this will be the extent of our liability to you.
We reserve the absolute right to refuse entry to our premises, even if you have a confirmed booking.
